Introduction
We are doing a webquest on photosynthesis.
How do plants get their food?
They make their food through a process called photosynthesis.
Photo means light; and synthesis means putting together.
We are hungry daisies looking for our food and nutrients. How do we get food
and nutrients?

daisy.
How does acquiring nutrients relate to
photosynthesis?

What are the four stages of photosynthesis? http://prezi.com/qf0fisj-dv-c/photosynthesis-4thgrade/

As a group of four, each student will be in charge of describing one of the four stages of
photosynthesis. Once each student has their topic they will then research their particular
stage in detail.
Students will go through the links provided to learn more about their specific step in
photosynthesis. Each student should have at least four facts about their process in
photosynthesis.
Once each student of the group has his or her information the student will create a diagram. The
group will draw a daisy and take turns labeling the different parts of the flower. Then in bullet
points each student will pick the three best facts about his or her topic to write on the diagram.
Using arrows the students will connect each stage of photosynthesis together.
