A. 6 G1.3.1 Use the fundamental themes of geography (location, place, human
environment interaction, movement, region) to describe regions or places on
earth.
B. 6 G1.3.2 Explain the locations and distributions of physical and human
characteristics of Earth by using knowledge of spatial patterns.
C. 6 G1.3.3 Explain the different ways in which places are connected and how
those connections demonstrate interdependence and accessibility.

Behavioral Objective:
A. Students will present their maps and posters that they created from the day
before relating to the 5 fundamental themes of geography.

B. Prompt: Do you like to travel, and when you do travel what are some of the things
that you bring with you?

2. Have groups go up one at a time to present their project.
a) Give students 5 minutes to prepare to present
b) Have each student tell the class what they did to help create their
project.
c) Tell students to show the class how their city relates to the five
themes of geography
