Noun Adjective
1. In Arabic, the noun comes before the
adjective.
Example: ( a new house)
2. The adjective is in agreement with the noun
in the following matters:
(a) Gender (masculine or feminine?)
(b) Definite or Indefinite Article ( or
Tanween?)
(c) Case (Marfoo, Majroor, or Mansub?)
Example:
3. Nouns ending in have no Tanween.
Example: ( lazy)
4. is a relative pronoun. If it refers to a
human being, it is to be translated who,
and if it refers to an animal or thing, it is to
be translated as which.
Examples:

The man WHO went out of the Masjid just


now is a famous merchant.
The house WHICH is in front of the Masjid
belongs to the Imam.
5. When is used with a noun having , the
alif of is omitted.
Example: ,
6. The noun following is Majroor.
