Comments/Suggestions

Lesson plan is available and well written.

Standards are well aligned to learning
targets and assessments.

Class began right away - nice work making sure that all
students were attentive when presenting the activity
Peer editing is a great way for students to see others' work
and to have their own work evaluated. It doesn't sound like
they've done this before - it would have been a good idea to
model how to do this prior to letting them work on their own.

1. Provides specific feedback to students about behavior.

2. Provides consistent support and encouragement to students.
3. Ensures that, when appropriate, student management issues are
addressed and resources quickly provided for assistance.
4. Sets clear expectations for students.
5. Determines discipline strategies that are appropriate for age,
individual, and school policies.
6. Uses a variety of appropriate motivational techniques.
7. Provides a classroom and/or laboratory that is a safe
environment for learning for all students.

Nice work holding students accountable, both during

instruction and during the activity.
Circulating while students work is a great idea - it gives
students a chance to "catch" you as you walk by (if they
aren't comfortable asking questions in front of class),
and it gives you a chance to assess where they are in
their learning.
I see students that are relatively engaged and are
listening to your instructions closely.
It feels a little rushed - thought that might be a good
thing. It's always interesting to balance getting work
done and keeping all levels engaged.
