Ms. Nunn was a math field placement student in my second grade classroom during the fall of 2013. During this time she proved to be a first rate student teacher. Ms. Nunn’s strong work ethics are evident in all areas of her teaching. She is a caring, positive role model, facilitator of active learning and effective classroom manager. She demonstrated these qualities naturally and consistently throughout her student teaching experience. Excellent planning and preparation skills contributed to her well structured and exciting lessons. Ms. Nunn’s lessons were flexible and responsive to the wide variety of learning styles and needs we have in our classroom. I was especially impressed with the thoughtful reflection that she gave to her lessons. After a lesson she always self evaluated and was looking for ways to change or improve things for the next lesson.
