Ms. Amy Selter
ADN program student
NURS360/362 Fall, 2014

Dear Amy:
It gives me great pleasure to highly recommend you for a RN position. Your
professionalism and maturity contributes to your creation of an overall positive learning
environment. Your significant class preparation and subsequent strong knowledge base
has provided a platform for your leadership within your class and within the Student Nurse
Association (SNA).
I had the opportunity to serve as your primary classroom instructor in your first Adult Health
course. You were consistently well-prepared, professional and thoughtful in your demeanor,
and effective with your communication skills. You exam scores were consistently among
the highest earning you an A grade for this ten-credit course.
In summary, you are well suited for a RN nursing position accompanied by a orientation As
you perform somewhat beyond the new graduate (novice) level. In addition, I highly
recommend you continue with your education to at least the masters level.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should additional information be needed. I may be
reached by e-mail at kboyer@hawaii.edu or at 734.9302 at any time.
Thank you for considering this outstanding applicant to your program
