Collaborative Digital Tools

This list is a collaborative digital tools list of technology that can help me effectively teach while using collaborative
learning. The tools below are for high school earth science which is typically nine grade students. Sometimes, the
students will be higher grades due to circumstances including transfers from other states or divisions. The classes I
teach are inclusion earth science classes and the skills of the students and their needs will vary. These tools will
help me to teach using collaborative techniques because the students can direct their learning and work together
with groups and/or other students around the world.

The ISTE standards for students portion for communication and collaboration are covered with the above websites.
The standards are to use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a
distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others. All of the sites support individual
learning and contribute to the learning of others. The sites regarding water use and freshness both support working
collaboratively at a distance. The will also work in different formats to create items, discuss, solve problems and
record their information, among many other things, with these sites.
