Parent Letter

Hello Parents,
My name is Michelle Iaquinta, and I have been working with your children this
year as part of my education through Victor Valley College. Next week I will be
teaching under the supervision of Mrs. Schneider. Our class will be learning about
Our Country. We will be exploring significant aspects involving the United States
of America, especially California. The children will be learning about the flag,
monuments, and the gold rush. For example, one activity we will be doing is
having our own Gold Hunt. The children will be able to pan for gold and have the
full gold rush experience. We will also have a fun art activity planned for the
children. They will be able to make their own firework show using pipe cleaners
and paint. The children will be very excited to share this with you

Ways You Can Get Involved

Since we will be discussing the flag this week, it would be wonderful if you could
make a flag that represents your family using the paper I send home. You can use
pictures of your family, draw your family, or have something your family loves
doing together. We will be displaying each familys flag in the classroom.
