Re: Michelle Iaquinta

To Whom It May Concern:
Michelle has been a mentor student in my classroom from September to December, 2014. As the lead teacher in the
classroom, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Michelle and observe her skills and capabilities in the
areas of teacher-child interaction, teaching strategies, teamwork and personal qualities. Her specific skills include
the following:
In the area of teacher-child interaction, Michelle worked quietly and gently with the children. She demonstrated
patience and calm.
In regards to her teaching strategies, Michelle planned activities that were simple, yet effective for learning. She
spoke gently to them. She sought to be inclusive of all children and worked best in small group situations.
As far as teamwork, Michelle treated all staff with respect. She turned her work in on time and consulted with me
with any questions or comments she might have had.
Michelle's over-all personal qualities show that she is consistent and dependable. She shows up to work on time, and
has worked to improve her level of confidence.

Based on my observations of Michelle, I can recommend her for an entry level position in an early childhood
