Describe how you would Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity in your
classroom:
I would begin by reading a story about a greek myth and asking the students questions about the
different characters and the lesson learned from it. Then I would show the class some artwork
and pictures of the architecture and discussing the similarities between what is in Greece and
what we have in the United States. At this point I would introduce the virtual field trip.
What technologies would be required to implement this proposed learning activity in a
classroom?

beyond their school: The students will be working with collaborative groups with

project the students will create a travel brochure for Greece.
c. Higher-order thinking: The students will be comparing the information they collect
from the field trip to the systems we have in the United States.

product: The students will publish their travel brochures on the classroom blog for
parents and peers to see.

How could you implement this proposed learning experience and still comply with your districts

limited to the website for the field trip and the groups will be monitored while working on the
