My cases(i can only remember 14.):paeds- 1.

HSP in a 4yr old (rash on buttocks and lower limbs only, fever,
abdominal pain, joint pain)
2. Neonatal examination
3. Vomiting and fever for 24 hours in a 4 weeks old baby(DDx- UTI,
Septicaemia, Pyloric stenosis, GORD, biliary atresia, duodenal atresia)
gynobs- 4. 4th degree placenta praevia in a 24 year old primi in 34th
gestational week ,living 500km away from nearest hospital
5. Premature labour in 28th gestational week in a young primi
6. secondary ammenorrhea caused by excessive weight loss and
exercise( hormone test results were given, FSH-low, LH-normal, TFT- normal,
prolactin-normal, Oestrogen- low)

Psych7. Talking to thhe mother of a 18yr old boy who was just diagnosed
with psychosis and you(GP) have decided to transfer him to hospital by
ambulance
8. 'Heart Turns' in a new first time mother - ECG results given in
writing ,sinus tachycardia, TFT-normal. Dx- Anxiety attacks
Sx/Med - 9.Examination of diabetic female's legs(complaining of pins and
needles and burning in the soles of her feet)
10.24 hrs post-cholecystectomy fever caused by atelectasis in
elderly man cigarette smoker( pneumatic pressure cuff was also on the right
cald to
confuse us with DVT. Also the patient had been started on
heparin after Sx)
11. Tiredness in 45yr female. FBE results given- tell patient results.
Hb -low, FBC- normal, serum ferritin - low, MCV-normal, anisocytosis,
poilkilocytosis and target cells present. I said she has an
anaemia and could be due to a blood loss. have to do colonoscopy, UGIE,
stools for
occult blood.Give iron tablets after all Ix. Finally told I'd like to
refer to a haematologist as well as there are some abnormal cells in the blood
12. Spleen rupture after MVA-Young make pt had a motor vehicle
accident 2hrs ago, primary and secondary survey already done and pt is stable.
Now pt
is complaining of pain in the
left side of body. A CT had been done and it was written that
free fluid was seen in peritoneum.Perform relevant examination and tell pt your
diagnosis
(I did abdominal and respiratory examinations)
13. Advice to a 34 yr male who's father died recently of an MI
(cardiovascular risk assessment and counseling)
14. Spirometry results given and we should explain to the patient
the results of this test and the management(pt was 60yr male
used to be a heavy smoker but stopped 2yrs back)
