ALL pupils will: Understand the functions of the keyboard, including styles, voices and rhythmic devices. Pupils will know where the notes are and be able to find and play
these.
MOST pupils will not have made so much progress and will: Play a basic melody on the keyboard in time to a beat using the functions on the keyboard.
SOME pupils will have progressed further and will: Play a more complex piece using both hands, they will use the functions on the keyboard to create an imaginative piece.
