how to check NetBackup internal labels on tapes

1. To expire the tape:


# bpexpdate -m <mediaid> -d 0
WARNING: This will remove all image database entries for this tape and should on
ly be used when the tape has invalid or unwanted images.
2. To relabel a tape:
# bplabel -m <mediaid> -d <density> -n <drive_name>
Log Files:
The /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bptm/log.<date> file on the media server will show
the incorrect media was found in the drive and that the tape is being frozen.

Resolution:
Correct the label or drive path in NBU configuration to correct this problem and
stop the freezing of tapes.
