Indicator A6: Draws on resources from colleagues, families, and the community to enhance
learning.
Evidence:
1. Lesson Plan #2 on 11/20/14 Frozen Pond by Megan Thompson
2. Lesson Plan #2 on 11/20/14 Architects and Builders by Jessica Lawson
Discussion:

performed as the first activity of the lesson. The lesson focus was cooperative games and
the teacher used the activity to promote critical thinking and teamwork.
2. The teacher used this activator from a separate class performed by a colleague. It was
performed as the second activity of the lesson. The lesson focus was cooperative games

Standard B: Delivers Effective Instruction

Indicator B2e: Uses questioning to stimulate thinking and encourages all students to respond.
Evidence:

is the give and go important?
2. Lesson Plan #4 12/11/14 Informing Questions: Why do we use offensive plays in
basketball? What is an example of an offensive play in basketball?
Discussion:
1. The teacher used questions at the beginning to check for the students understanding of the
game and to get them directed towards the focus. The focus was the give and go in soccer
and I was asking to see if the students knew if what game situations the give and go is
used and the purpose of it. These questions are meant to prepare the students for the rest
of class.

determining whether the class could come up with any examples. These questions are
meant to prepare the students for the rest of class.

Standard C: Manages Classroom Climate and Operation

Indicator C2: Creates a physical environment appropriate to a range of learning activities.
Evidence:
1. Lesson Plan #1 11/13/14 Instructional Observation Instrument Sheet (Maximizes use of
space and equipment to provide OTRs) completed by Mr. Magee
2. Lesson Plan #3 12/4/14 Instructional Observation Instrument Sheet (Maximizes use of
space and equipment to provide OTRs) completed by Mr. Magee
Discussion:
1. On the instructional observation instrument sheet I received a 3 out of 3 on the section
that states the teacher maximizes use of space and equipment to provide OTRs , which
means I demonstrates this often throughout the lesson. Mr. Magee mentioned that I had
used the entire football field and that the students had a lot of activity time.
