(Writing for the last time from the prayer trenches
in Rose City, Ontario, Canada).
Calvary greetings ...
The Royal Visitor was clothed in bright, shiny garment. With a gold crown on his head.
But he looked unhappy ... sad, really.
I followed the direction of his gaze. Then I saw the woman.
She seemed to be in her early forties. Watching her slow, painful walk and the dejected look on
her face I could see her life was plagued by chronic problems, both physical and emotional.
I saw her showing up at the pastor's office on time, waiting in the crowded reception room,
trying to read tracts and bulletins for an hour ... waiting for her name to be called to see the man
of God.
Eventually she's ushered into the small counselling room - and then, made to wait some more.
Finally, I saw an elderly-looking pastor come in through the other door. He asked her a few
questions, laid hands on her, prayed with her, and gave her some scripture verses and more
prayers on two sheets of paper ... and then vanished to attend to others waiting in line for
counselling and prayers.
The woman left, looking a bit relieved but not too happy. I could feel her frustration with a
problem that many months of prayer and counselling couldn't quite seem to help.
She looked:

... afraid of the consequences of a failing marriage on herself and her two children.
... exhausted by spiritual advice that didn't produce tangible results.
... worried about what the future holds for her.
... embarrassed by the rumours of the imminent break-up of her 15-year-old marriage.
... disgusted with the stories about her spouse's affair with younger, slim, more beautiful women
abroad.
Then the Royal Visitor looked at me and said:
"She is totally discouraged. And about to give up. She is not the only one. Millions of my
children share the same experiences daily. Your job is to take this and help them out."
With that he handed me a single sheet of paper.
To my surprise I saw that there were 40 prayers written on the paper from top to bottom.
I began to read.
As I got to #7 I woke up.
So it was all a dream! Or was it?
The scene was so vivid ... I could still remember the prayers. So I decided to write them down
immediately.
I fired up my laptop. I began to type away furiously. Then suddenly, like a bolt out of the blue,
an email popped into my inbox.

What Has My "Dream" Got To Do With Your Victory In

2010?
Before we go any further, we need to pause for prayers. Please find a quiet place where you can
close your eyes and bow down your head for a few minutes.
Then take these 3 prayers in rapid succession, as if you're firing a machine gun.
#1: Every activity of the evil trinity of death, grave and hell over my life, scatter in the mighty
name of Jesus.
#2: Every yoke of periodic problems in my life, you are hereby broken in the name of Jesus.
#3: Eternal Rock of Ages, fall and crush any pursuing power in my dreams In Jesus' name.
Now we are ready.
See the story I just told you? It is real. In my writings I often refer to this as an example of
"spiritual drama". You could call it a dream ... or divine visitation ... or whatever.
So far, from that single sheet of paper has flowed thousands and thousands of prayer points (I
like to call them "prayer bullets" - you'll soon see why).
It has given rise to 8 books and hundreds of weekly newsletters to date.

And the result?
Quite a few praise reports coming in from 117 countries... daily. As I write we are closing the
year with 3,027 testimonies on file.
Praise the LORD.
Our Report Card for 2009 continues to prove that the LORD (who sent me) still saves, heals and
delivers to the uttermost ... even from a distance, without any physical contact at all. Like you
find in Matthew 8 verse 8.
Before we jump into the core message and prayers to close out this year ... and usher in the New
Year, here's a random sample of what the LORD has done through this site in 2009.

The Glow Of A Brand New Year Is On the Horizon
We are approaching the end of an era. And the beginning of something new and exciting.
A defining spiritual moment.
Yes, it is the end of the year 2009.
It is also the end of the first decade of the 21st century.

We are about to enter the second decade of this century ... beginning at 12:00 midnight of
December 31, 2009.
And unlike in previous years, when our program was targeted at the gate of the New Year...
... we are going to focus our prayers on the gate of a New Decade (i.e. 2010 to 2019).
Since 2010 marks the beginning of the 2nd decade, in much the same way as the year 2000
marked the beginning of the 1st decade... which is drawing to a close on December 31.
(For those who are not very familiar with our end-of-year prayer program, there will be a short
flashback in the next few minutes to bring everyone up to speed.)
But before that, there is an urgent, crucial message as we prepare to close out the year and enter
into the 2nd decade of the 21st century.
Let's now go to the scriptures...
The Gate Into 2010 Is A "2-Leaved" Gate
We'll begin our scripture reading from the book of Isaiah 45:
45:1 Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue
nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates;
and the gates shall not be shut;
2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of
brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may
know that I, the LORD, which call you by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Let's back up for a moment to our last Prayer Marathon which ended in early December. At that
time we saw how the man Jehu entered in at the gate (2 Kings 9:31) to order to carry out a divine
mandate...
... to rid Israel of the queen mother of witchcraft and to eradicate all forms of idolatry.

We now follow him on his exploits... and that takes us to the next set of scriptures, all from 2
Kings chapter 10.
Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote and sent letters to Samaria, to the
rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to those who reared Ahab's sons, saying:
Now as soon as this letter comes to you, since your master's sons are with you, and you have
chariots and horses, a fortified city also, and weapons, choose the best qualified of your master's
sons, set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.
But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, "Look, two kings could not stand up to him; how
then can we stand?" And he who was in charge of the house, and he who was in charge of the
city, the elders also, and those who reared the sons, sent to Jehu, saying, "We are your servants,
we will do all you tell us; but we will not make anyone king. Do what is good in your sight."Then
he wrote a second letter to them, saying:
If you are for me and will obey my voice, take the heads of the men, your master's sons, and
come to me at Jezreel by this time tomorrow.
Now the king's sons, seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, who were rearing
them.So it was, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons and slaughtered
seventy persons, put their heads in baskets and sent them to him at Jezreel...
...
10 Know now that nothing shall fall to the earth of the word of the LORD which the LORD
spoke concerning the house of Ahab; for the LORD has done what He spoke by His servant
Elijah."So Jehu killed all who remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men
and his close acquaintances and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
...
14 And he said, "Take them alive!" So they took them alive, and killed them at the well of Beth
Eked, forty-two men; and he left none of them.
...
17 And when he came to Samaria, he killed all who remained to Ahab in Samaria, till he had

destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke to Elijah.
...
25 Now it happened, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said
to the guard and to the captains, "Go in and kill them; let no one come out!" And they killed
them with the edge of the sword; then the guards and the officers threw them out, and went into
the inner room of the temple of Baal.
And they brought the sacred pillars out of the temple of Baal and burned them. Then they broke
down the sacred pillar of Baal, and tore down the temple of Baal and made it a refuse dump to
this day.
Thus Jehu destroyed Baal from Israel.

What insights do these scriptures offer us, particularly as we approach the decade beginning with
the year 2010?
I'll give you the details in a moment.
4 Breakthrough Lessons For 2010 And Beyond...
Breakthrough Lesson #1:

A Decade of Dreams
Starting from midnight of December 31, 2009, you must be ready to pay special attention to all
your divinely-inspired dreams.
Why?

Because from 2010, we will be entering what can best be described as the ... Golden Decade of
Dreams...
... where the LORD will once again begin to reveal deep and peculiar mysteries to His people in
the dream.
Now, someone has said that the world is ruled by dreamers.
You will find that this statement is true in more ways than one.
Much of the advancement (and wealth) the world has ever known first came to someone as a
picture in a dream.
Here's a few notable cases:
#1: Are you an artistic kind of person? You might be interested to know that Mozart, one of
the greatest composers who ever lived, received many of his most glorious compositions in the
dream.
#2: Or perhaps you have an interest in the sciences? Not to worry. It should comfort you to
know that Nobel Prize-winning physicist Niels Bohr was able to figure out the structure of the
atom for the very first time ... a problem which had perplexed the scientific world for a long time
... after he saw in a dream the sun composed of burning gases with planets orbiting around it
attached by fine threads.
#3: Still for the scientific minded, it will also gladden your heart to know about one of the
discoveries that was pivotal to the advancement of all of science. It is said that the structure for
the periodic table first appeared to the Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev in a dream. He was
the son of a priest.
#4: Even if you have zero interest in the science or the arts, there is no escaping the fact that
all around you are things invented by people who first saw their spiritual equivalent in the
dream...
Have You Googled For Anything Lately?

Then you can thank God that Larry Page, one of the two founders of Google, had a dream one
night ... and woke up to put together a secret mathematical algorithm that essentially powers the
Internet's #1 search engine (last quarter revenues: $22 billion).
Just so you know...
To date, no one has been able to replicate, or even understand, how Google's algorithm really
works, in spite of armies of the best engineering and scientific minds in the world working day
and night, trying to crack the code...
That's What Sets Apart Knowledge Revealed In The Dream!
It cannot be easily copied or duplicated.
At this point, you might begin to wonder: Is this biblical at all?
Just turn with me to Genesis chapter 31 verse 10 and let's see how the man Jacob received the
blueprint for his great wealth:
"And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a
dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-
spotted. Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, 'Jacob.' And I said, 'Here I am.'
And He said, 'Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked,
speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.
- Gen 31:10-13
Did you see it?
The idea that Jacob implemented to turn on the tap of massive generational wealth was delivered
to him in the dream!
Now you know --
Let's get a piece of bad news out of the way before we get to the good news.
There are dream killers around!
For many people today, satan and his agents have worked very hard to replace their divine
dreams with evil dreams and nightmares featuring fearful attacks and endless harassments.

Given that situation it is no big surprise that most people have all but forgotten the wonderful
dreams they used to have as kids, and sometimes, as adults.
No wonder they are not making much progress in life.
The LORD will deliver our dream lives in Jesus' name.
Now to the good news...
You are a product of your dreams. And the LORD wants to meet you in your dreams all over
again.
He wants to restore to you the keys to open locked doors that the enemy has (most likely) stolen
from you already.
He wants to give you the secret to His treasures in your dreams... just as He did to the notable
historical figures we've just seen here.
How will He do it?
"And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
- Joel 2:28-29
See the exact same scripture in the New Testament:
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men

shall dream dreams.And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit
in those days...
- Acts 2:16-18
You always want to pay closer attention when you see something repeated like this in both Old
and New Testaments. Here the phrase "old men" prophetically refers to people (male and female)
who possess the kind of wisdom usually associated with gray-haired old men.
Back to the first scripture we read in Isaiah 45. It talks about:
... treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places.
It always take a dream revelation to discover this kind of treasure.
A year ago, one of my subscribers from South Africa shared a dream with me. She told me that
the LORD came to her in a dream and explained to her what exactly could be used as a cure for
the dreaded HIV virus.
... treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places.
If you are reading this manuscript, please understand that it is not by accident.
The LORD is signalling to you that He is about to visit you powerfully in your dreams... if only
you'll be alert enough to recognize your time of divine visitation.
Please close your eyes and take this prayer point:
"I will not miss my time of divine visitation in the mighty name of Jesus"
Yes. We are about to enter a decade of unusual dream visitations. You'd better be prepared.
Shortly I'll be explaining what you need to do in order to be well prepared.

The Decade of Civilian Slaughter

Scripture reveals to us that anytime the LORD begins to release golden nuggets in dreams and
visions, the devil is not going to sit idly by. He usually responds by ordering a wholesale
slaughter of innocent people.
When I say "wholesale slaughter" I mean mindless, indiscriminate killings that won't make any
sense at all. I am talking about shootings at shopping malls, churches, train stations, schools,
homes, etc.
That trend has already begun ... but it will quickly accelerate and kick into top gear in the new
decade ahead.
What I've just said, let's go find it in scripture. This time we take our reading from the book of
Matthew chapter 2.
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men
from the East came to Jerusalem, saying,"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For
we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."
When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had
gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the
Christ was to be born.
So they said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:
'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; for out of
you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.'"
Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star
appeared.And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and search carefully for the young
Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him
also."
When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East
went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the
star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw
the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had
opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for
their own country another way.
Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream,
saying, "Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring
you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him."
When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and
was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord
through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called My Son."
Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he
sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts,
from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise
men.
- Matt 2:1-16
Once the LORD begins to reveal things to His people in dreams and visions, the devil usually
would be so frustrated. He will then react in a blind rage, killing, maiming and destroying
everything in his path.
From what Herod did here, you can see this is so.
Unless we believers take action about it (through prayer and fasting) unprecedented civilian
slaughter may well become the hallmark of the next year ... and the next decade.
As for the agenda of the devil to kill ... you can refuse to be a partaker.
And that leads us directly to the next crucial lesson.

Become A True Soldier Of The Cross
The way to exempt yourself and your loved ones from what I've just described is to surrender
EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Most of my subscribers are mature believers who have been walking with the Lord for many
years.
However ...
It is easy to see that many areas of so many believers' lives are not yet surrendered to Him
completely.
In those areas, you find that the flesh is firmly on the throne.
This is a pity.
I don't know about you, but this is what I see as a major challenge in the churches today. You
find believers talking and acting in a way that could make even the devil to blush.
We urgently need to wake up and deal a mortal blow to our fleshly, carnal nature so the Spirit of
the Lord can make our lives His dwelling place.
Because...
As soon as He begins to direct the affairs of your life, no one will need to preach to you about the
grave dangers of continuing to live in sin.
As a matter of fact, He will give you special lectures on how to walk the walk of faith
successfully.
As an added bonus... before any disaster strikes, He will usually warn you days, even weeks, in
advance.
What's even more profound ...
You could become a prophetic megaphone ... issuing decrees and praying the kind of prayer that
heaven just cannot ignore.
(I deal with this whole subject matter in detail in Lesson 5 of the Prayer Academy.)
The night before the enemy plans to strike, don't be surprised when the Lord wakes you up at the
midnight hour and drops the kind of prayers to pray and scatter their agenda.
Even if they try to ambush you, the Lord will despatch His angels to either slow you down or
speed you past the zone of danger so you will never be a partaker:

No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
- Ps 91:10-12
NOTE: To operate in this realm of 24-hour divine protection in 2010 and beyond, you must
crucify your flesh. And turn away from every sin that the Holy Spirit convicts you of. Failing to
do so will only open doors for the enemy to strike.
The Bible says in Ps 66:18
"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"

Finally, Have A Midnight Prayer Plan
Now we are going deeper...
There is an old military dictum: "The best defense is a good offense. You must never go on the
defensive..."
A good example:
In its fight against the scourge of terrorism, the US military has put in place a clandestine search-
and-destroy program, which launches missile strikes from remotely piloted aircrafts, called
Predator drones.

According to Newsweek magazine, this program has successfully targeted and killed more than a
dozen senior leaders of terrorist groups during the last two years.
The program is said to be effective not just in killing terrorists but also in keeping them on the
run and disrupting their ability to plan new attacks.
Before I tell you what this has got to do with prayers (you'll be surprised) let me first give you
some idea of how a Predator drone operates.
Here's how the New Yorker described the August 5, 2009 drone attack on one of the most wanted
terrorist leaders in Pakistan:
On August 5th, officials at the Central Intelligence Agency, in Langley, Virginia, watched a live
video feed relaying closeup footage of one of the most wanted terrorists in Pakistan. Baitullah
Mehsud, the leader of the Taliban in Pakistan, could be seen reclining on the rooftop of his
father-in-law’s house, in Zanghara, a hamlet in South Waziristan. It was a hot summer night,
and he was joined outside by his wife and his uncle, a medic; at one point, the remarkably crisp
images showed that Mehsud, who suffered from diabetes and a kidney ailment, was receiving an
intravenous drip.
The video was being captured by the infrared camera of a Predator drone, a remotely
controlled, unmanned plane that had been hovering, undetected, two miles or so above the
house. Pakistan’s Interior Minister, A. Rehman Malik, told me recently that Mehsud was resting
on his back. Malik, using his hands to make a picture frame, explained that the Predator’s
targeters could see Mehsud’s entire body, not just the top of his head. “It was a perfect picture,”
Malik, who watched the videotape later, said. “We used to see James Bond movies where he
talked into his shoe or his watch. We thought it was a fairy tale. But this was fact!” The image
remained just as stable when the C.I.A. remotely launched two Hellfire missiles from the
Predator. Authorities watched the fiery blast in real time. After the dust cloud dissipated, all that
remained of Mehsud was a detached torso. Eleven others died: his wife, his father-in-law, his
mother-in-law, a lieutenant, and seven bodyguards.
Pakistan’s government considered Mehsud its top enemy, holding him responsible for the vast
majority of recent terrorist attacks inside the country, including the assassination of former
Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, in December, 2007, and the bombing, last September, of the
Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, which killed more than fifty people.

Now what has this got to do with prayer?
When you learn to program "interruption prayers" into the midnight hour, you give permission to
the army of the Lord to swing into operation, on a search and destroy mission, anywhere evil
plans are being hatched against you and your loved ones.
I'm not kidding you. I'm deadly serious here.
You can catch a glimpse of this spiritual army in the book of Joel:
They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation,
and they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own
column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down. They run to and fro in
the city, they run on the wall; they climb into the houses, they enter at the windows like a thief.
The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble; the sun and moon grow dark, and the stars
diminish their brightness. The LORD gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great;
For strong is the one who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very
terrible; Who can endure it?

You can look at the fearsome army described here as the Lord's "predator drones" in action.
Here's a secret you need to know now:
When you learn to issue decrees at the midnight hour (as I will be showing you shortly) these
prayers of "offense" will begin to hover (unseen in the spiritual realm) like a Predator drone all
through 2010 and beyond... ready to call into swift operation...
... the army of the LORD to destroy every satanic agenda targeted against your life and your
loved ones.

One of my favourite old prophets in the Bible knew how to deploy "drone attack" kind of
prayers. Through his prayers he successfully dealt a mortal blow to enemies of his nation and
ushered in a time of restoration and peace during his watch.
Let's see it together:
Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the
lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard of it, they
were afraid of the Philistines. So the children of Israel said to Samuel,"Do not cease to cry out
to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines."
And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the LORD. Then
Samuel cried out to the LORD for Israel, and the LORD answered him. Now as Samuel was
offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the LORD
thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them that they were
overcome before Israel. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines,
and drove them back as far as below Beth Car. Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between
Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the LORD has helped us."
So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel. And
the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel. Then the cities which
the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron to Gath; and Israel
recovered its territory from the hands of the Philistines. Also there was peace between Israel and
the Amorites.
- 1 Sam 7:7-14
See? The prayer of the prophet continued to work against the enemies of Israel all through that
generation.
This is your time. And my time. The time is right for us to deploy these same spiritual weapons
through prayer ... against all the enemies of our destiny (NOTE: these are not human beings - see
Ephesians 6:12).

Year ... And The New Decade
This year we will begin our close-out prayers at the midnight hour of December 30.
We will enter into the New Year, firing on all cylinders, praying violently and aggressively
through December 31 to January 1, 2010.
We will continue our prayers every midnight till January 10, 2010.
To All Our Prayer Eagles...
From December 31, 2009 fasting is compulsory (unless you have a medical condition that
precludes fasting).
All prayer eagles on this site are to embark on an Esther Fast on December 31, January 1,
January 2, 2010.
And at the midnight hour every night from December 31 to January 10, you must be up every
night praying the prayers you are going to see shortly.

A Quick Review…From Last Year
There are 3 basic fundamentals that you need to arm yourself with, as
we prepare to crossover into the New Year.
Here’s the VERY first one. And you need to apply it diligently at the
“gate” i.e. midnight December 31, 2009. (The rest I will teach step by
step in the next Prayer Academy starting soon.)
If you're ready, let's go...
We'll open this section with a short prayer. Please just close your eyes
where you are now and take this singular prayer point with fire in
your spirit:
"O LORD, open my spiritual understanding

in the name of Jesus. Amen."
We’ll take off by looking at the popular story of the ten virgins. In
Matthew 25:1-10 we read:
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which
took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom

cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps
are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us
and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were
ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut."
I believe we are all familiar with this story. Two phrases are of
particular interest to us here:
(i) at midnight there was a cry made...

(ii) and the door was shut...
In summary...
Midnight is the time when

"doors" are shut in the spirit.
It is also a time when satanic cries are made against people by the
evil powers of their ancestral lineage.
Please hold this thought while we back up to Psalm 24:7-10:
"Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting

doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and

mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting

doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of

glory."
Again we see the word “doors” but this time...
Instead of being shut, the door (and gates)

are being commanded to “open.”
Putting what we’ve read so far together, we arrive at the inescapable

conclusion that doors can be opened and shut in the in the spiritual
realm.
In many places in the Bible, we come across doors and gates at the
entrance to: houses (Acts 3), camps (Exodus. 32), prisons (Acts 12),
temples (Acts 3), beaches (Nahum 2), palaces (Esther 5), cities (1
Kings 17).
At the gates of the city, the most important decisions affecting the
lives of citizens were made. Courts and meetings were held there.
Also, people were judged, and while some were punished, deserving
citizens were honored at the gate. Even commercial transactions were
conducted at the gate.
It was no coincidence therefore that in times of

war, the enemy’s first point of concentration was
at the gate.
What’s this got to do with the New Year?
You can liken the new year to a well-fortified city with a strong gate.
The gate is the entry point into the city.

For the purpose of this conversation...
The door or gate of the New Year is currently

shut. It is supposed to swing open IN THE SPIRIT
at 12 midnight on December 31st.
Notice that I used the words, “supposed”… that is what should

happen in an ideal situation...
The reality, however, is that for most people, the gate of the New Year
never opens to them spiritually… it remains tightly shut against them
year after year, often without their knowledge!
Why is this so?
The Bible reveals that there are invisible “horsemen setting

themselves in array at the gate” (Isaiah 22:7).
And here's the SECRET:
The entrance or gate to the New Year

is the midnight hour of December 31.
The truth remains that this gate is the point of the hottest spiritual
battle you can think of. Whoever takes control of the gate in the
crucial first few seconds of the New Year determines what happens
throughout the entire year!
What I’m sharing with you is well-understood by the children of

darkness. No wonder our Lord Jesus once said (in Luke 16:8b):
… for the children of this world are in their

generation wiser than the children of light.

At the critical midnight hour of December 31st, the children of this
world (darkness) that Jesus is referring to here will be busy making
evil prophetic pronouncements to capture the entire year (and shut
the gates of the next 12 months against ignorant people).
At this exact same time, most modern day

believers will be dancing and partying the night
away!
Unknown to most people, at this critical hour of midnight when the

new year is being “delivered” (think of a woman in labor), whatever
declarations are being made (good or bad) have the capacity to alter
the destiny of an individual, family or nation.
You remember how many prophecies of greatness that Christians

usually receive at the beginning of every year?
How many of them ever

come to pass?
You know why?
At the most critical first few seconds of the New Year, the enemy gets
busy "shutting the gate" against people, using words anointed with
satanic power!
No wonder:
• Doors of opportunity remained shut throughout the year.
• The heavens refuse to open and pour out the expected

blessings..

• Divine benefits refused to manifest...
• Prayers went unanswered... leaving many believers scratching

their heads.
If you keep records of these prophecies every year (like I do) you’ll
realize that most of them never come to pass.
It doesn't matter how many great men or women of God prophesied.
Why?
Because most Christians allow the enemy to

take control of the GATES when it mattered
most…
... at the critical moment of transition… when most people are in

slumber.
You see, in the spiritual realm, just one second’s delay can cost a
person an entire year.
Like the prayer points you will see shortly, if you were to pray them at
any other time of the year, you won’t achieve the same results.
Thankfully, the Lord has not left us ignorant. He has given us a battle
plan.
If we execute on this plan diligently...
These 90 minutes AT THE GATE can save us 9

months of frustration, disappointment and
sorrow.

documents, check books, your home, and anything you want to receive divine
acceleration in 2010… using the Scripture in James 5:14-15; then forcefully and
loudly speak the blessings of Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 on yourself. (Please do this
passionately.)
3. Praise and thank the Lord for as long as you can.
4. Now is the time to pray for your friends, family, Church, your nation ... and whoever
the Holy Spirit brings to your heart.
Day 1 - January 1

Say this out loud:
This year 2010 the Lord shall open before me the two-leaved gates so that the gates
will not be shut. This year 2010 the Lord shall go before me and make the crooked
places straight. He will break in pieces the gates of brass and cut in sunder the bars
of iron. The Lord Himself will give unto me the treasures of darkness and the hidden
riches of secret places.

For He is the Lord and there is none other. He forms the light and creates darkness.
He makes peace and creates calamity. This year the Lord shall rain down calamity
upon all my stubborn pursuers in Jesus' name. As for me He shall open the heavens
above and let the skies pour down righteousness, abundance and prosperity upon me.
My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit of God. I am redeemed, cleansed and
sanctified by the blood of Jesus. The devil has no place in me. The devil has no
power over me. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. The weapons of my
warfare are mighty through God to pull down strongholds. This year 2010 I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me.

and be broken by the power in the blood of Jesus.
