METHOD STATEMENT FOR MSRL PUDDLE PIPE & PLATE
1, OBJECITVE:
To Fabricate the Puddle Pipe & Flanges with the specified material as per Tender
Specification at manufacture shop.
2. SCOPE:
The scope of work includes carrying out the Fabrication of Puddle Pipe & Flange as
per Tender Specifications.
3. MATERIALS:
1. MS Pipes of approved make up to 200 NB shall be purchased from vendors with
the Material test Certificates.
2. Pipes above 200 NB shall be fabricated from plates of thickness equal or higher
than pipe requirement. The plates of approved make shall be purchased from
vendors with the material test Certificates.
3. MS Flanges shall be purchased from the vendors with the materials test
Certificates.
4, PROCEDURE:
1. The list of MSRL Puddle Pipe and the Puddle pipe drawing No.NTPL-TEC-TAS-
M-282 Rev (0) is furnished.
2. The Puddle Pipe shall be fabricated based on the approved Mechanical GA
drawings of water retaining structure and puddle pipe & flange details drawing.
3. The fabrication work of the puddle shall be carried out as per attached QAP at
vendor shop.
4. The Rubber lining of thickness 3mm shall be carried out as per specification at
manufacture workshop.
5. The fabricated Puddle Pipe & Flange material shall be dispatched to site after
final inspection as per the attached QAP.
