From 1:45 Ss in groups will draw 2D and 3D shapes in their white board and compare between them.
to 2:30 Core:
T will present presentation about 3D shapes and students will identify the shape by its character
that it shown in in slides.
Wrap up:
Ss Draw any 5 3D shapes in A4 paper

Topic: Literacy Test (Summative Assessment)


Objective or WALT: To evaluate students understanding about the unit.
Engage:
First period
T will give instruction of the test materials, question order, time and where to submit it.

T will read the questions for the students.
From 9:00
Core:
to 9:40
T will circulate around students to seek their need if needed.
Wrap up:
Ss will submit the test near T table.

Topic: Properties of Matter


(Science)
Objective or WALT: To discuss and write about properties of matter.
Engage:

T will give students white board and Ss will write one property for each states of matter.
Core:
Ss will discuss 5 questions that is written in the board as following:
a. Define matter, mass and volume
b. Are all solids same?how?
c. How is oil different from water?
d. What is the different between pouring solid powder and pouring liquids?
e. Properties of solid, liquid and gas (Differences between matter like liquid, gas and solid)
Wrap up:
Ss will write the answers in their note book to practice their writing and write the appropriate
information.

Topic: 3D shapes
(Numeracy)
Objective or WALT: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize 3D shapes
Fourth period
Engage:

Ss will identify different 3D shapes by worksheet.
From 11:20
Core:
to 11:5
Each group will have one 3D shape with information about it and they will read it to present their
shape
Wrap up:
T will discuss each shape as whole class and write the summary on the board so ss will write it on
their numeracy note book.

Each group will have 3D shapes (model) and they will compare it in term of 2D shapes (How many
2D shapes that your group 3D shape contains?)
Wrap up:
T will summarize their information and write it on the board so the students will write these
information

Ss will brainstorm their overall knowledge about 3D shapes

Ss will create 3D shapes and design it using A5 papers and T will elaborate their creations.
Wrap up:
Ss will discuss their 3D shape to their group members.
