The scriptures of Israel are filled with many stories of barren couples who were

We always say that the family is one of our greater values.

But the protec on of the family not always is a reality
among us.

Homily reflec on
A er the image of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, the family is
sacred. We know, however, that nowadays the family
faces huge challenges: break ups, separa ons, conflicts in
rela onships, dicul es in the care of the elderly and of
special needs children, problems of legal status that may
separate the family. The ideal of family unity might seem
too distant for us. What is true is that in any type of
family, community, or group, the quali es proposed to us
today make life and communica on a li le easier:
kindness, humility, gentleness, and pa ence. Doing
everything in the name of Jesus will temper our
impa ence, our desire to be the center of everything, the
harshness in dealing with others. Doing everything in the
name of Jesus will remind us of who we are: children who
have received the love of the Father. And, in reminding us
of who we are, it will also remind us on how we should
live.

For reflec on
What problems of my family would be easier if I prac ced
more o en the simple mo o of doing everything in the
name of Jesus?

Las lecturas de Hoy y su Mensaje

Eclesistico 3:2-6, 12-14

Estaba deseando terminar e irse a casa.
Estaba deseando irse a casa
Estoy deseando verla terminada.
interior. La misma situacin, vivida y sentida diferente, ennoblece
o denigra, alegra o entristece, facilita o entorpece, ensea o
amarga.
