Students generally have the basic knowledge about the characteristics of seasons when asked.
Students can match months with seasons in a matching activity 10 out of 12.

In the beginning of the lesson, the Prezi presentation will be shown to the students. After brief introduction to
seasons and months, lesson will continue with student's book readings and exercises in workbook.The concept
map (popplet) is hung on the wall. After the worksheets consisting of matching activities are distributed to
students, students are given time to complete. During this activity, they get help from the popplet , which was
aimed to utilize peripheral learning.

Summary
The content consists of seasons and months within them. The introduction will be done with the Prezi
presentation. In this presentation, the visuals and the names of the seasons are given together so that the
students relate the visuals in the presentation to the image of seasons in their daily life. After that, the months
in each season are taught with the presentation. In the matching activity, students are asked to match months
with seasons to reinforce their learning. During this activity, the concept map hung on the wall helps them to
remember what they have already learned, also they have the chance to relate pictures with seasons &
months.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
If anything goes wrong, instead of Prezi presentation the lesson will start with student's book readings. If the
hardcopies of Popplet concept map and the matching activities are not present, workbook exercises which, was
planned to be given as homework, can be done in the class.
