Montezuma Castle Tour Guide and Founding Museum Curator/Archivist -- Montezuma,

Gave tours of the historic Montezuma Castle, designed and set up exhibits, received and
catalogued artifact donations, and relocated and reestablished the schools archive of school
related documents that had been previously improperly stored and required extensive
reorganization and restoration as well as cataloguing and digitization.

Trails and Rails Volunteer -- La Junta, CO (2013)
Traveled between La Junta, CO and Albuquerque, NM aboard Amtraks Southwest Chief train
conducting guided talks and tours of the historic sites and natural landscape seen by passengers
along the route.
City of Las Vegas Museum and Rough Rider Memorial Collection

Responsible for the cataloguing and care of the museum collections. Helped plan new exhibits,
authored exhibit panels and artifact descriptions, and gave general visitor assistance.

Seasonal position which involved giving tours of historic buildings in Las Vegas, NM during special

Trail
Volunteer (Interpretation) --Watrous, NM (2007-2013)
Conducted tours of the fort ruins; acted in historical reenactments of the 1st New Mexico
Volunteer Regiment; researched, designed and initiated interpretive programs including a
geocache program I Got the Picture at Fort Union and a Junior Ranger program for the Santa Fe
Trail; and general visitor center and office duties.
Shawnigan Lake Historical Society Museum
Museum Volunteer -- Shawnigan Lake, BC (2011-2013)
Gave tours of the museum, designed new exhibits, and developed interactive museum movies
for children and adults. Served as the main artifact and archives acccessionist for the museum
and researched, numbered, and logged over 1,000 artifacts and archives. In 2012 I was elected
Youth Representative on the Board of Directors for the museum. I continue to publish the
monthly newsletter, Museum Muse.

Chosen to present Fort Union Guardian of the Santa Fe Trail, which gave a history of the US
military outpost of Fort Union and its role in the New Mexico Territory from 1851-1891.
New Mexico History Conference, Ruidoso, NM (2011)
Presented The Montezuma Hotel and Fred Harvey which gave a history of the Montezuma Hotel
and its founder Fred Harvey and the Harvey Company.
Santa Fe National Historic Trail Junior Ranger Activity Book (2012)
Published in conjunction with five National Park Service sites, the booklet provides a means for
younger visitors to explore the history of the Santa Fe Trail a vital trade route in the Southwest.
Passwords, Please! (2013)
Written as part of the 2013 New Mexico State Bar Essay Contest where it received second place
and argues the constitutionality of the practice of employers obtaining access to employee social
media accounts as part of the hiring process.
For the Benefit of All- Healing, Helping, and Learning in Las Vegas (2013)
The first stage of the City of Las Vegass museum renovation plan. I wrote labels and information
panels for artifacts and selected artifacts for display.
