1. Under Article 177 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines, it was stated there
that any misrepresentation of an authority considered a punishable offense, to wit:
Art. 177. Usurpation of authority or official functions. Any person who shall
knowingly and falsely represent himself to be an officer, agent or representative
of any department or agency of the Philippine Government or of any foreign
government, or who, under pretense of official position, shall perform any act
pertaining to any person in authority or public officer of the Philippine
Government or any foreign government, or any agency thereof, without being
lawfully entitled to do so, shall suffer the penalty of prision correccional in its
minimum and medium periods.

The Offense of Usurpation of authority is committed by knowingly misrepresenting oneself to be an


officer, agent, or representative of the government, whether local, national or foreign or by performing any
act pertaining to a person in authority or public officer of the government under pretense of official position
and without authority.
Apparently, respondents _______ satisfied the manner of commission of usurpation of authority or
official functions. Respondent ______ was in violation of the law when, on ______________, he
misrepresented himself as a representative of __________________, when in fact, he is not. Further,
respondent ___________ did not provide any identification which would conclusively state that he is
indeed a representative of _____________
