Warning Signs of a Kick

Notify Company Man and Toolpusher if any of the following conditions are
observed:
o Mud Pit Gain
o Increased rate of returns at Flowline while circulating
o Returns at Flowline with pumps off
o Incorrect hole fill while tripping
o Increase in Torque and Drag
o Increase in ROP (Drilling Break)
o Increase in Cuttings size and shape
o Mud Property changes (water cut or increase in Chlorides)
o Connection Gas
o Increase in Background Gas
o Increase in Temperature of the drilling mud returns
