Instructor: Kurtis Hewson

Yellow team gets close side (west), Green far side (east).
Flags and Home Base
Instead of 1 flag per team, each player will have a flag for their team.
Flags may be hid any ware on your side no burying, or tying. Flag must be able
to be taken quickly.
Each team will also have a hoola-hoop for home base.
Just like flags home base may be hidden any ware on your side, must be on the
ground.
Used to put other teams flags in and to become untagged.
How To Win
The team with the most flags when I call the game to an end is the winning
team.
Obtain flags by going to the other teams side finding a hidden flag and bringing
it back to your teams side without being tagged.
The flag must then be placed in teams home base.
Defending
To defend flags, tag any opposing player on your side of the field.
Tagged player must return to home base before returning to play.
If a player is tagged with flag in hand leave flag where player was tagged, the
flag will then be in play from that position.
Steeling flags
Players may steal flags from the opposite teams home base, but only from their
home base.
To steal Run go to oppositions home base and take one flag at a time back to
your side, without being tagged.
The flag will then be placed in stealing teams home base and counted as a
point.
Both teams may defend their home base but must stay ten steps away from it,
unless tagging a opposing player.
Advanced Play (if time and participation allow)
Two or three players are given red pinnys and called robbers.
Robbers will have two home bases one at either end of the half line.
Robbers may take flags from either teams side of the field or either teams
home base.
Taken flags are placed in the robbers home base.
Flags in the robbers home base may not be stolen by any player.
Robbers cannot tag any player.
A robber may be tagged, once tagged; a robber remains frozen until touched by
another robber.
Players may not puppy-guard a frozen robber they must remain ten steps
away unless tagging another player.
If all robbers are frozen they must all return to their home base before
returning play.
Ask for questions
Answer questions, again ensuring all students are paying attention
PROCEDURE
Instruct students on how we will proceed
Listen for instructions and please wait until I say Go ahead to fallow them
Before Play
Sit with a partner you would like to be on a team with
I will assign teams
You will each take two pinnys one to ware, the other to use as a flag
Please do not hide the pinny in a way that it would get damaged
