~SEVEN DEADLY SINS~

Policy of SDS I: In accordance with Elrickquen Agnosticism, you must try to avoid the Seven Deadly
Sins (Lust, Gluttony, Pride, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, and Envy)
Policy of SDS regarding Lust: is an intense desire for objects such as money, fame, food, power, or sex.
Uncontrollable desires in the mind of someone who knows better.

Policy of SDS regarding Gluttony: is the over-indulgence or over-consumption to the point of

wastefulness.
The Six Ways of Committing Gluttony (as prepared by Thomas Aquinas):
I: Praepropere- eating too soon or early
II: Laute- eating too lavishly or expensively
III: Nimis- eating more than necessary or too much
IV: Ardenter- eating too eagerly or willing
V: Studiose- eating too pompous or daintily (not enough)
VI: Forente- eating wildly or savagely (as if an animal)

Policy of SDS regarding Pride: is the belief that oneself is better than others or excessive admiration.
Pride is also known as the original and most serious deadly sin.
Vainglory- unjustified boasting or talk. A form of pride.

Policy of SDS regarding Greed: excess wanting, insatiable desire for objects or power even with a
sufficient amount present
The Five Ways of Committing Greed:
I: Hoarding
II: Theft
III: Robbery
IV: Trickery
V: Manipulation of Authority

Policy of SDS regarding Wrath: rage and uncontrolled or unjustified feelings of anger and hatred
The Four Ways of Committing Wrath:
I: impatience
II: revenge
III: substance abuse
IV: rejection of the gift of life/suicide

Policy of SDS regarding Sloth: laziness or unjustified absence from working or putting forth an effort.
Failure to do a task or assignment you were supposed to do for no good reason.
Evil exists when good men fail to act, so to say
As stated by Edmund Burke (Present Discontents), No man, who is not inflamed by vain-glory into
enthusiasm, can flatter himself that his single, unsupported, desultory, unsystematic endeavors are of
power to defeat the subtle designs and united Cabals of ambitions citizens. When bad men combine, the
good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.

Policy of SDS regarding Envy: an uncontrollable desire for an object one does not possess but another
does. To become jealous of another person for circumstances or possessions.
Feeling discontented towards another persons:
-traits
-status
-abilities
-rewards
-possessions
-circumstances
