Chinese Mitten Crab aka Beach Creeper

You will often find the Chinese Mitten crab in Freshwater. When in its adult
stage they will have hairy claws. It also has four spines and a notch between its
nose. Sometimes they migrate to saltwater to reproduce. Can produce between
100,000-1,000,000 per brood.
Crimes Committed: Interfered with fish salvage, messed up fish passage facilities,
destroyed water/power treatment plants, increase bank erosion, threaten spawning
of other species by eating their eggs, and threaten human health by carrying
oriental lung fluke.

They are native to the yellow sea. The Chinese Mitten Crab was moved around
possibly by ballast water.
