The points that the author want to tell is about people in Singapore in this era is doesnt
worried about spending their money because they just buy what they want to buy because
everyone know that many branded stuff in Singapore are so cheap to buy in other of country
or city. In this year, 2014, has well with double and shoppers say that annual sale has to be
bigger, broader and even more value-for-money to say ahead of competition from other
cities in the region.
According to figures released by MasterCard few days ago, it cardholders spent over
US$1.6 Billion or RM 5.1 Billion during this years event, up rise in 11.2% from one years
ago. Every spending for buy the branded stuff that increase the rate during every eight-week
sale that they do every year. The author maybe think that Singapore people are spending
more branded stuff other then china people in China.
`in this century every people has to know to spend the money because someday that
many of stuff that we buy is useful because we just want to that that will make us sad
because we doesnt care about important and not important think.
In the article, the author want to give point that Singapore people are spending more
money for branded stuff in big numbers. People doesnt matter think about benefit or besides
there but they buy including from the improve or the product that was sell. Many kind of the
people that buy the product is that they using the MasterCard.
According to the Singapore Retailer Association (SRA) president Jannie Chan said this
pick-up in spending is encouraging for the industry after a relatively muted start to the year.
Singapore always being remain to the other people that they state are attractive destination
for shopping.
Meanwhile, Singapore-based cardholder chalked up receipt of US$1.2 billion or RM3.8
billionan increase of average until 12.8% from year ago. The current of Great Singapore
Sale focuces more on goods than services. It would be good encrichment centre offer
discounts for new enrollees or for those whos sign up for a year.
Yes, the articles is clear, because it make me as a buyer or shopaholics that it can be
more thinking about spend of our money in future. The article want to shows that every
people that can be more think about lifestyle because it can make us more thinking for
spending the money in minimal.
In the articles shows that people in Singapore spending for the stuff in a big number
that more big amount from United Stated, China or Japan. For Chinese and Japanese
visitors spent the most at specialty retail stores, while Malaysians went fo telecommunication
equipment. Australians and Indonesians preferred to shop at department stores.

The author look like disagree with the SRA President. That SRA provide more
discount for the branded stuff that give an easy living for people in Singapore waste their
money. This is why they have no choice but to implement the SRA. SRA always increase the
discount because government in Singapore want to increase their economy.

The supported evidence of this article is he said although there were 12 million shopaholic in
Singapore, only 1.2 million paid taxes. Thus, 28 million Singapore depend on the 1.2 million
taxpayers; a ratio that only exists in Singapore. Beside that, consumers will be taxed only for
goods and services they buy, he said, adding that it would be easy to track down those who
tried to evade paying the government and the SRA.

I agree with the author because this issue will be make the people always wasting the
money. In the same time that they will never survived for their future because they always
spending the money for huge amount. I think that the government have to uprise the taxed
but not to high that can make people more saving for their money.
For this issue I prefer that the government have to increase the price an also the taxed,
because if the government do this method in few years that they will get save their money an
will keep arrange their spending of their money more systematic and also will increase the
economy in the save way.
