employability tool. To support the ideas, several evidences will be conveyed from
books, online resources, internet, articles and journals. Finally a conclusion will be
created to offer an outline of the key points supported in the work, moreover last
part of the work will contain some recommendations for a digital profile. Some of the
points which will be elaborated are background, current research, current issues,
implications and recommendations from workers, students, employers.

Current Research
Employers are using social web sites to find the best job candidates while purging
their candidate pool. ExecuNet`s discovered that 35% of the recruiters had eliminated
candidates due to information uncovered online. Companies are checking digital
profiles to guarantee potential aspirants do not have unsuitable content posted on
their sites (Luse 2009 pp. 22).
To make the difference into a business, that business needs to be driven to succeed
and this is exclusively factual when it comes to digital marketing. Social media has
changed the way we do business (CAAN 2014). Current research recommend that

The scheme of applying one`s private characteristics to an industry is not only for

The implication of companies in social media as Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest is a
great way to grasp possible consumers and let the personality shine. Embolden clients

nature of personal service and clients can think. The way they network with clients
and their employees is the heart of personal brands (Johnson 2014).

It is recommended to have a digital profile and using it for the professional life
because of how the Internet is used nowadays that will keep you in the attention of
potential employers, workers and business partners. Also is expected by recruiters
from the applicants to have a professional online presence (Guggi 2012).

Motives for not using social media sites in a professional way contain students
opinions of those sites as purely social platforms, worries about managers checking
their profiles and indecision concerning how social media sites could help them with
their careers (Guggi 2012).

Conclusion
In conclusion the current research showed that the employers are using social media
to discover the best employees and often they are looking for Facebook and Twitter.
The social media is used also for creating the image of a company and give to
customers the opportunity to formulate their thought, the good and also the bad
thought. Some research illustrated that exist some issues about a digital profile, for
example social media change the limits of how the people and organizations work and
communicate. Everyone is involved in this trend and use a digital profile as a
professional or social tool. Some benefits to use that as a professional tool is that
gives the opportunity to interact with new people who might be potential employees
or employers. Some pupils avoid the digital profiles for the professional environment
because they think that will keep them safe, but sometimes that destroy their image
and make the companies to avoid them as they do not have the opportunity to
communicate or even check them and their activities on Internet.
