Provided support and holistic care for children and youth diagnosed with major depressive
disorder, bipolar, schizophrenia, eating disorders, suicidal ideation and suicide attempt. Was
responsible for programming, activities, and patient teaching on areas such as developing
coping skills and techniques, mindfulness, soothing mechanisms, relaxation therapy, anxiety
and depression. Administered medications and assessed for prns, did patient charting, nurses
report, collaborated with nurses and psychiatrist with pertinent patient information. Gave
support, teaching and relevant information to family members. Participated in care
conferences. Communicated with psychiatrist regarding patients.
