RE: Complaint against Delray Beach Commissioner Jordana Jarjura for alleged violation of Florida
Homestead Exemption FS 196.
Dear Sir:
I allege Delray Beach Commissioner Jordana Jarjura has knowingly violated Florida Statute 196.031

who in good faith makes the property his or her permanent residence or the permanent residence of another or others
legally or naturally dependent upon him or her, is entitled to an exemption from all taxation, except for assessments
for special benefits, up to the assessed valuation of $25,000 on the residence and contiguous real property, as defined
in s. 6, Art. VII of the State Constitution.
Florida Statute 196.131(2) provides the following:
Any person who knowingly and willfully gives false information for the purpose of claiming homestead exemption
as provided for in this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or
by fine not exceeding $5,000, or both.
In support of my allegation, I offer the following:
1.

I therefore respectfully request that your agency thoroughly investigates my allegation and to the extent permitted by
State or local law or regulations, any and all penalties, sanctions, or other disciplinary actions for violations of such
standards be applied forthwith.
Sincerely;

Timothy Chaz Stevens
