Lecture and Hands On. Taking away the tight structure of typical high
school art lessons and allowing the students to return to their childhood by
playing with art-materials, allowing natural discover of their properties.

Dragons in a Box- Massachusetts Art Educators Association

Lecture and Hands On. The ancient history of dragons and the story of their
possible origins are used to connect to the creation of a paper sculpture dragon
nestled inside its own little hand folded box.

Versatile Pastels- New England Art Educators Association

Lecture and Hands On. The amazing variety of lessons that can be obtained
through one simple art material is amazing. From grades 2 through 12, pastels
can be used to create beautiful colorful works of art.

Guardian Dolls- New England Art Educators Association

Lecture and Hands On. Beyond play, dolls have been used through out time
to symbolize protection and keep away evil. Designing and building a doll for its
beauty and symbolism teaches middle school students a new form of selfportrait.

Lecture and Hands On. The beauty of the simple rainstick is enhanced with
the use of embroidery thread, resulting in a combination of visual and musical
pleasure for adults.
