Procedures:

Studentswilluseanotebookwithbradstoholdanypapersgivenoutinclass.Homeworkshouldbe
keptinthisnotebook.SciencevocabularywordswillbekeptinabrownenvelopecalledDeep
Practice.Thiswillbegivenouttostudentsthefirstweektostudents.Itshouldbebroughttoclass
eachday.Studentswillreceiveatextbookwhichwillbekeptathome.Therewillbeanadditional
textbookleftintheclassroom.

HomeworkTherewillbehomework!Homeworkwillconsistofreadingfromthesciencebook,review
sheets,studyingvocabularycards,readingovernotestakeninclass,takehomeprojects,orstudying
foraquizortest.Anyhomeworkturnedinlatewillbehalfcredit.Threelateassignmentsorthree
homeworkassignmentsnotturnedinwillresultinaphonecallhome.Itisthestudentsresponsibility
togetanyclassnotesorhomeworkassignmentsthatweremissed.Missedworkwillbeplacedina
folderneartheclassroomdoor.StudentswillalsobekeepingtrackofBestManagementPractices
thattheycandoathometomaketheEarthmoreGREEN(likerecycle,turningofflights,etc.).Alog
willbesenthomethefirstweek.
