Compare

and Contrast Dr. Marjorie Evascos two poems,

Dreamweavers and Caravan of the Water-bearers.
Examine the historical context of the poems. Does it affect the

meaning of the poetry?

How do these poems reflect the feminist poetry of Marjorie
Evasco?
If present, how do these poems differ in their viewpoint towards
the oppression and/or the liberation and empowerment of
women? Does one poem express a deeper emotion? Why do you
say so?

Question 2
How

does the poem The woman in the Middle

of the Station by Viet Ha reflect the diaspora
of the Southeast Asian people?

Why

does he use the image of a woman as

the subject of the poem? Do you think Viet Ha
doesnt acknowledge male overseas workers?
Why or why not? You may explain these using
actual statistics.

Is

there a Theist (God-believing)

perspective in the poem Mi Ultimo Adios by
Dr. Jose P. Rizal? How does it compare to the
perspective of Faisal Kamandobats To God?
