I'dliketospeaktoyoubothinregardsoftheDreamAct.IsitnottruethattheUnitedStatesof
Americaisacountrythatwasbuiltonthefoundationofequalityforallpersons.Thefreedomof
religion,speech,protest,andthepress.TheDreamActisalegislationagreedonbyboth
democraticandrepublicanpartiesthatprovidescertainprivilegestothesocalledupperclass
immigrantswhoresideinAmerica.MydearfriendcametotheUnitedStatesasan
undocumentedcitizen.HewasborninMexico,butraisedinTheUnitedStates.Helivedinthe
countryfor13yearsandhasattendedschoolforalloftheyearshelivedhere.Accordingtothe
DreamAct,itisaccuratetostatethathewouldqualifytoapply,andtobeprotectedbythedream
act,sincehewasraisedinTheU.S.andwantstoattendcollege.However,hisparentswereborn
andraisedinMexico.Although,hewouldbeprotectedbytheDreamActhisparentsaren'tand
stillcouldbedeported.Myfrienddidn'tlearntheEnglishlanguageuntilhewashereinAmerica
andstruggledtopassclasses,understandinformation,andmakerelationshipswithotherswho
didnotspeakSpanish.HelikemanyotherimmigrantscametoliveintheUnitedStatesand
struggledwiththelanguagebarrier.Thiscouldhappenatanyageimmigrantschoosetocometo

differencebetweenhimandtheotherimmigrantminorswhosharedthesamestrugglebutcan't

orprivilegesthatmyfriendqualifiesfor?Underthe14thamendmentallpeopleareobligatedto
therightsoflife,liberty,andproperty.Whichisequalforallpersons,andthegovernmentcan
notmakealawthattakesawayrightsfrompeopleorspecificgroups.Ifthegovernmentallowed
theDreamActtopassitwouldcreateaseparationinclassamongimmigrantsandundocumented
minors.Allowingprivilegesfortheimmigrantminorswhoplantoattendcollege,andorjointhe
military,butnotforthosewhocannotaffordtoattendcollegeordonotwanttoparticipateinthe
military.Creatingseparateclassesbetweenimmigrants,makingsomefeelwantedandothersfeel
likelessofpeople.Since,thisiswhatwouldbecreatedanditgoesagainstwhatwebelieveasa
nation,TheDREAMActshouldnotbepassed.

seethegiantandcatastrophicloopholesandflawswithit.Thetruthiswearenaturally
sympatheticifchildrenareinvolved.Thewaytheadvocatespresentitinawaythatweare
fooledintothinkingthatonlychildrenbenefitfromthedreamact.AccordingforFoxNewsin

tobelegalized,whichwillthenstartanendlesschainofimmigrantscomingintocomeandtake
advantageofthisloopholeinthedreamact.Countlessimmigrantswillbefloodinginbeforethe
billtakesplace.Thedreamactalsogivesimmigrantsthepowertobreakthelaw.Thisactseems
tobeunfairforindividualswhohavecompliedwiththerulesandrequirementsintheirdesirefor
citizenship.Thisactwilladdmillionsofindividualswhowillutilizegovernmentresourceslike
healthcare,educationandsocialsecuritywhilepayinglowtaxesornotaxesatall.The
governmentdeficitsthatarebeyondcontrolcanfurtherleadtobankruptcy.Thiswouldprobably
takeawayjobsfromAmericancitizensandwilldrivedownsalariesorwagesofjobsthatareleft
behind.Thislegislationisviewedtocreateinvasionofvoterssupportinglawmakersand
presidentwhogavethemthecitizenshipattheexpenseofremainingcitizens.Allofthe
immigrantswhobecomelegalizedwillvoteforthepresidentandpartythatgavethem
citizenship.Theimplementationofthisactmightleadtoovercrowdingoroverpopulationin
Americancities.Somanyimmigrantswilldriveupunemploymentratesandjobs,whichare
alreadyhardtogetandkeepforthecitizenshere,willbefoughtforbyalloftheseimmigrants.
