Spiritual Quality

Acts 6:1-10, 1 Tim 3:8-13

role of deacon and assist others
3. Must be mature believers
4. Separate roles to Eldership they
are the social workers,
administrators of the local church

Recipients of Biblical Charity

Our mission is not to keep people in living

hell, it is to lead them to Jesus and deliver
them from present and eternal hell.
If people choose sin and evil they must
accept the consequences of their exercise
of their own free will, and the church must
not provide the Lords money to assist
them. Save their children if you are able.
Keep your own home base stable!

Train your Deacons

1. Deacons retreat prayer and

Bible training
2. Identify what the deacons have
done to date, and refocus them
3. Look for scriptural bases for what
is to be done, has been done
4. Plan a course of Bible study for
this purpose
5. Always accept resignations

1. Should they serve for life?

2. How are they to be chosen?
3. How do you discipline them?
4. How many do you need?
5. Should they be on the Board?
6. Will they double up elders
pastoral visits?
7. Do they serve communion?
