BBT 10 Exam

1. Create a folder in your U: called Exam. (/5)

2. Orthographic Projection (15)


i. Draw an orthographic projection of the following 3D image.
ii. Graph paper has been provided for you. Let 1 square equal 1 cm.
So, you just need a straight edge, not a ruler
iii. Make sure that everything is in the correct layout (front, side and
top are all relative to each other.)

3. Create a PowerPoint slideshow that follows the criteria below:


a. Title Slide - (15)
i. Select a head from one family member and place it on a character
of another family using a photo editor. (the photos are below)
ii. Keep the following points in mind so that it looks more realistic:
1. Size
2. Shape
3. Rotation
4. Clean up edges
iii. Use your name as the title and BBT Exam as subtitle
iv. Save the completed graphic in your Exam folder
v. Use your name as the slide title and BBT Exam as a subtitle
vi. Add your new graphic to the title slide.
b. Slide two (15)
i. Get the Excel file called marks below
ii. Add a table title and center it over the data. Call it Student Grades.
iii. Fill in the formulas for all students’ (avg, max, min)
iv. Make the inside of the title cell green
v. Bold the highest avg
vi. Create a column graph that shows the student marks for test 2 only,
along with all of the appropriate info (values, x/y axis, title, legend,
etc.)
vii. Add the graph to slide two.
viii. Slide title is Grades
ix. Add 3 bullets to the right of the table (in PowerPoint) that display
the highest marks for all students

c. Slide three - create a bar graph of the class avgs and add it to your slide
with the following items: (20)
i. Add graph title - Grades
ii. X and Y axis titles (Names and Grades)
iii. Legend under the graph
iv. Add the graph to slide three
v. Slide three title is Grade Averages
vi. Add a text box below the graph (in PowerPoint) with the following
sentence: “These are the class averages.”

d. Slide four – Sketchup (20)


i. Draw the above figure (the one in #2 with the dimensions), in
Sketchup
ii. Include the dimensions as shown
iii. Export it so it will go into PowerPoint as an image
iv. Make the title Google Sketchup

Slideshow should include: (10)


 Slide transitions on all slides
 Animation on graphics only (no text)
 Common background design
 Common text styles
