I am a skilled career professional with more than 6 years experience as a

Registered Nurse in the hospital and in specialized areas. Overall l have 13 years
experience with direct patient care.

I am an established employee at Hillsdale Community Health Center. I have been a

RN Case Manager for over 3 years with Hillsdale Hospital. The first years of my RN
nursing career was as a nurse on the medical/surgical floor, while floating to all
areas of the hospital when able, and often functioned as the Charge Nurse.

As a case manager, I am proficient in utilization review, the appeal process, staying

current with the centers of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and local commercial
insurances. I interact with nursing, physicians, pharmacy, dietary, physical therapy,
and medical records making sure patients have all that they need, while staying
within an appropriate length of stay, and assuring patients leave with a safe
discharge plan. I stay current and informed with healthcare changes by staying
active with CMS, and attending conferences when able.

environment. Some of my nursing skills include IV catheter starts, infusion therapy,
chest tube management, NG insertion, assessment skills, telemetry reading, drug
