Cascades Baptist Church Ww \ 26" Novernber 2013, To Whom It May Concern: Re: Daniel J Globig ~ Letter of Recommendation | am writing this letter of recommendation not because | have been asked to, but because | would like to be part of the spiritfilled process of moving Daniel Giobig from his period of training for ministry, and out into the calling that | believe he has received. | have known Daniel for six years, having worked with him extensively In our church's Overflow youth ministry program. Daniel was one of my youth leaders, and was invalved in leadership tasks with the students, with discipleship work, ‘with mentoring and outreach. One of the first things that struck me about this man was his uncanquerable passion far lost people. | think that, in the whole of my ministry, | have encountered very few people with that level of zeal for the lost. found that Daniel did not care for lost people simply with his mind, but truly with his soul. He was burdened for the eternal future of those far from God to the point that he would actually weep over their need for Christ. The next thing that | learned about Daniel is that he does not believe in confining ministry Into a box. Like the Apostle Paul writing in 1 Corinthians :19-23, Danie! Is prepared to do all things, so that by all means, some might be wan to the cause of Christ. That means that Daniel is prepared ‘to attempt great things forthe Lord, even if they are nat the “usual” way of doing ministry, and where there isa real prospect Of failure, That fact reveals that Daniel is a man of courage in the Lord. In my experience, when you have very gifted people who are courageous for the Lord, you can encounter, in the person, a sense of superior anointing above others, and/or a lack of ‘adherence to orthodox Christian dactrine. | am deeply encouraged to say that | have found that Daniel has a clear sense of his ‘own weaknesses, and understands that any good thing that he does for the Lord, only comes from the Lord working through thi rather than from any inherent gift In himself. That understanding, coupled with his abilities, in and of itself, makes Daniel ‘an unusual man. | arn also pleased to say that Daniel is firmly grounded in a sound biblical theology and can contend for what he believes to be right out of the Word of God. His firm conviction is that all ministry must have as its end helping a person Understand their sin before God and introducing the person to the Person and Work of the Lard Jesus Christ, Daniel has many aitings from the Lord. As | have already mentioned, he is very passionate forthe lost that they may become found. He is highly Creative and senses new ways in which those far from Christ can be connected with personally, and reached for Christ. He is spiritually sensitive and Is attentive to the Holy Sprit when he is being given direction for ministry. Daniel is also a capable leader, able to motivate others to 8 cause. He teaches patiently, creatively and with an ear inclined to where his audience is a: | would like to invite you to consider him for a ministry position with your church. If he is a ministerial fit with your theology, vision and values, | would encourage you to take a risk and call into service this unusual and gifted young man. | am avidly walting to see which church the Lord will plant him, and what the Lord will use him for in that place. | hope that God ‘makes a way for that to be with your church.
