The article deals with simulation, system analysis and steadystate optimal control of an ammonia synthesis process system under parametric uncertainty. Kellogg process of ammonia synthesis loop with four-bed axial-flow quench converter
is the subject of our study. For the object simulation Aspen
Plus software is used. To describe the ammonia synthesis
process promoted by iron catalysts plug-in module developed
by the authors is applied. The problem of optimal operative
control based on the techno-economic criteria denoting current notional profit is solved. The set of uncertain parameters
is limited on the basis of the sensitivity analysis results. In
this study the interval and probabilistic parameter uncertainty
forms are considered.
