schools. Cleaning may be performed during or outside normal operating hours. Offices and areas such as
supply rooms, computer rooms, library/media centers and other areas not accessible during evening
hours are cleaned during normal operating hours. NOTE: For all work in this section, unless otherwise
indicated, Daily and Weekly or Twice or Three per week (with no less than one day between
services) These frequencies apply to days and weeks that schools are in session. One full cleaning is
required before the start of the school year. Three days prior to school start, provide cleaning of all
restrooms and remove trash from all classrooms. . See Reduced Services in Para 4.28 below.

Provide non-routine cleaning services, which may include any or all of the items described in 4.1 through
4.26, above, or other custodial-related tasks, stemming from special events, illness, vandalism or other
mischief, as specified in Work Orders or Project Work Requests. Prepare and submit estimate of work to
be performed, and perform as specified in approved Work Order or Project Work Request.
4.28
Reduced Services
Services provided at schools when classes are not in session. During periods when classes are not in
session, the custodial services will be limited to administration offices, main bathrooms immediately
adjacent to administrative offices, entrance ways and halls leading to administrative offices once per
week. Reduced services in administrative areas shall be limited to trash removal, sweeping, mopping
and/or vacuuming once per week. Main bathrooms immediately adjacent to administrative offices shall
be fully cleaned and stocked once per week.
For Area Offices and District Superintendent Office spaces all services are required twice per week
throughout the calendar year.

5.6.1
