Provide Routine Custodial Services (4.1 thru 4.26) and Non-Routine Custodial Services (4.27) to

services) These frequencies apply to days and weeks that schools are in session. One full cleaning is
required before the start of the school year. Three days prior to school start, provide cleaning of all
restrooms and remove trash from all classrooms. . See Reduced Services in Para 4.28 below.

stains and soiled areas. Use chemical cleaning solutions that are specifically designed for carpet cleaning.

appropriate retracting carpet shampooing machine and approved shampoo solution. Avoid saturating
carpet to the extent practicable, and remove excess water immediately after shampooing. Return furniture

Reduced Services

Services provided at schools when classes are not in session. During periods when classes are not in
session, the custodial services will be limited to administration offices, main bathrooms immediately

week. Reduced services in administrative areas shall be limited to trash removal, sweeping, mopping
and/or vacuuming once per week. Main bathrooms immediately adjacent to administrative offices shall
be fully cleaned and stocked once per week.

5.3.4

Sports Fields RM

Inspect football /soccer fields, baseball diamonds, running tracks and sand pits, grassed recreation areas
and rake and/or level minor high or low spots in conjunction with grass cutting operations (see Para.
5.2.1 above). These areas shall be swept, cleared of debris, (including moss) and watered as necessary to
sustain and promote appropriate grass functionality.

5.3.5

Sport Fields Mowing

Before mowing, remove all organic and manmade debris. Mow playing area of sport field to maintain a
maximum consistent height of 10 centimeters and a minimum consistent height of 6 centimeters. Mowing
equipment shall be of a type and quality tailored specifically to sport field maintenance. All trash, debris,
and grass cuttings visible on the lawn surface removed the same day as mowing to a proper disposal site.

5.3.6

Clear ice and snow from areas designated on Site Plans for each facility supplied as Exhibit E. Ice and
snow shall be removed first from school bus Pickup and Drop-off (PUDO) areas to main school entrance
or entrances before removal from other indicated areas. Accumulated ice and snow shall be removed on
school days NLT 30 minutes prior to scheduled arrival time of school bus(es). Apply sand, grit or other
approved traction aiding material to icy walks and pathways as local regulations permit to allow safe
walking areas for students and staff. Pathways shall remain free of ice and snow accumulation during
normal duty hours.
