This primary source, the actual painting that Leonardo painted, helped me understand what the painting
was about. He painted the Virgin Mary, baby Jesus and a young John the Baptist along with an angel and
showed perspective, which was something that was new in the Renaissance era.

This painting, a primary source, is a very famous painting that most people know about and many go to
see on display in France. It was interesting to look at this painting and see how Leonardo used
perspective again, even when he painted a portrait.

This book helped me understand how Leonardo felt about art at the time he was living. This secondary
source helped me to understand what was going on with Leonardo as he started to paint.

This book, a secondary source, gave me information about Leonardos childhood and his parents. This
has helped me learn how troubled Leonardos childhood was and how much of a genius he became.

This book had a lot of information about Leonardo and his mural painting The Last Supper. The
book had some good information but was way to long for me to read the whole thing. I also
scanned a good picture that about how Leonardo used perspective when painting this mural.

This documentary, which was originally aired on The History Channel, was interesting to watch and
helped give me information about who Leonardo Da Vinci was and how he broke free of being an
illegitimate child and became an apprentice. I learned how important it was for him to become an
apprentice and then become a member of the painters guild in Florence. I also learned about Leonardos
personality and how he never gave up.
