project. Students will have to be able to organize the
information to clearly display their bank and then will
have to be able to judge their project on how much
money they have to spend and their general habits
(being their spending or their saving).

Have students pick an animal or plant and have them


compare it to another plant or animal. Within this
comparison, have the students define characteristics
in which help the animal/plant survive. Going a step
further, also have the students research and propose
an idea about how the human race could human race
to help and hurt the species. In addition to that, have
each student work in a small group to come up with
an idea about something the school could do to help
local species survive. Try to implement at least one of
them as a class project and record the progress with
visuals as well as commentary. As the project
progresses, try to connect with other schools to and
make it a group effort. Compare the results.

Creating the student must generate an idea about


what the story was about; they then must plan out
what they want to write; then they must construct the
ideas. They will then have to construct a presentation
and apply it to the website.

Have students create a formal report to be given to


the class about the topic to give extra knowledge to
peers. Post a video and ask students to respond to
the video.

Other
Reflection:

These are all very different examples about a lesson that could be used in a classroom following the first grade standards. I just want to clarify that all of this lessons would be placed on a website or blog
that the students create prior to completing each activity. The idea for this is to allow access to other students work in a variety of settings. Students can receive feedback and critiques as to what they are
working on in addition to giving such to other students. It allows for a more effective collaborative effort on all the projects that can be created.
