snowy Saturday morning. Here they

The Date Auction is the first official Pre-E-week event. Each department volunteers
5 dates, who are auctioned off to the highest bidders. Engineering students in the
audience compete against each other in a live auction for the dates. Each couple
also wins a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Departments win E-week points for
buying and selling dates, as well as overall participation points for having members
of their department in the audience.
This event is a lot of fun to go to with a group of friends- whether youre auctioning
yourself off, bidding for a date, or just there to watch- youre sure to have a good
time! All proceeds from the Date Auction go to the American Cancer Society.

FSAE Unveiling

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)

Pitt ASCE will be holding executive board elections at the February general body
meeting. Please send us an email <PittsburghASCE@gmail.com> if you are interested in running for an officer position. For more information about a specific
board member position, feel free to contact the person who is currently serving in
that role, listed on our site here: http://pittasce.weebly.com/executive-board.html
Newly elected board members will "shadow" the current board for
the remainder of the spring semester and then officially begin their terms at the
start of the 2015-2016 academic year.
This is a great way to improve your leadership skills, get really involved in the civil
engineering department, and also make a difference in the world! Good luck to all
of the candidates and the future leaders of ASCE.

the framework of helping other people rather than making money. Also, reach out to
the community for problems/pain points, etc.

The times and locations are still to be determined. However, if students have questions
they can email pittdesignhub@gmail.com or subscribe at our new website http://
pittdesignhub.com/.
