Service Area only:
FOR CENTRAL NY
This area includes but is
not limited to cities such
as Syracuse, Utica, Ithaca,
Elmira, Binghamton, and
Oneonta.
FOR NORTHEAST PA
This area includes but is
not limited to cities such
as Towanda, Montrose,
Scranton, and WilkesBarre.

Changes Since Last Briefing


Upgraded Central NY, Finger Lakes,
Greater Binghamton area, and the
Western Catskills to a Winter Storm
Warning.
The Winter Storm Watch for
Elmira/Corning area and Northeast
Pennsylvania remains in effect.
Made minor adjustments to the
snowfall map.

Uncertainties
There are still uncertainties
with this storm.
Our highest uncertainty is
across our central and
southern forecast area (see
snow map with black circled
area).
Due to the uncertainty some
areas are still in a WATCH or
NOTHING at this time.

Impacts
Heavy snow, with a light coating
of ice from southern NY into
Northeast PA.
Heaviest snow falls in the warning
area.
Greatest potential for icing will be
along the NY/PA border into
Northeast PA.
