Traffic circle at the intersection of judson and henderson and henderson court is
needed. (6 roads intersect & county attempts at moving the stop signs over the
years has not improved the situation. Traffic circle is only remaining option.)

Recruitment and involvement of the Latino community at Highland in the Civic


Association (potential for County assistance/funding for translation services, etc?)

Involvement of students in Civic Association activities where they can obtain


student service learning (SSL) hours.

Coordinate with local stores for grocery cart retrieval and begin a regular
neighborhood cleanup

Work w/WMATA to improve the odors (human waste), appearance (abandoned
shopping carts), and maintenance of area around outside elevator/steps to the
parking garage.
Stronger and/or more lighting along sidewalks on Grandview from Blueridge
to Avena (and probably other areas).
A campaign informing neighbors any county regulations regarding what can be
kept on their property/how to erect structures on their property to contain items
kept outside.
