Unveiling The Mystery

of the
Kingdom of God
Even the mystery which hath
been hid from ages, and from
generations, but now is made
manifest to his saints.
Col. 1:26

Mystery does not mean confusion

because God is not an author of
confusion
We pray the Word of God be made
plain and understood by all.
Let all other devices of the enemy;
opinions and doctrines of men be
silent forever.

And all who study these scriptures be

liberated by the truth of Gods Word.

THE MYSTERY SHOWS THAT

God has a plan for the
emancipation of all mankind.
This plan ought to cause a
true believer of the gospel to
rejoice and be liberated.
Apostle Peter began to
unveil Gods plan on the
glorious day of Pentecost

And he *(The Father) shall send

Jesus Christ, which before was
preached unto you: Whom the
heaven must receive until the
times of restitution of all things,
which God hath spoken by the
mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began.
Act 3: 20-21

This mystery has always been in the

The Gospel
of the
Kingdom of God

What exactly is the Gospel?

The word gospel simply
mean good news.
What good news and for
who?
Is the gospel for an
exclusive few?

The gospel is the good

news concerning Gods
Son which reveals the
righteousness of God
and His power to save
all mankind.

Apostle Paul Defines The

Gospel As The Foundation On
Which All Believers Stand.
1Co 15:1 brethren, I declare
unto you the gospel which I
preached unto you, which
also ye have received, and
wherein ye stand.

The Gospel Is The Means By

Which All Are Saved.
1Co 15:2 By which also ye
are saved, if ye keep in
memory what I preached
unto you, unless ye have
believed in vain.

The Gospel States That Christ

Died For Our (All) Sins.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto
you first of all that which I
also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to
the scriptures.

Christ Was Buried And Rose

Again
1Co 15:4 And that he was
buried, and that he rose
again the third day
according to the scriptures.

Christ died, was buried

and rose again for our
(all) sins according to
the scriptures.
Do you believe the
scriptures?

Paul Believed The Gospel To

Be The Power Of God
For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the
power of God unto salvation to
every one that believeth; to
the Jew first, and also to the
Greek. (Rom 1:16 KJV)

Paul believed God is the Savior of

ALL MEN!
1Ti 4:9 This is a faithful saying and
worthy of all acceptation.
1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labor
and suffer reproach, because we
trust in the living God, who is the
Savior of all men, specially of those
that believe.
1Ti 4:11 These things command and
teach.

1Ti 4:11 These things command

and teach.
These are very strong words!
Now Pause, Reflect and Ask
Why are we not hearing these
things being commanded and
taught on our pulpits today?

Some theologians consider

these scriptures and some of
Pauls interpretations of
scriptures and prophecies to be
too liberal.
Really? Paul the lawyer and the
Pharisee of the Pharisees? Lets
take some time to consider
Pauls background and calling

Why did Paul labor and suffer

reproach?
Reproached by who and for
what?
From the early writings of the
apostles, especially Paul and
Peter, you get the sense of a
satanic plot to subvert the
Gospel.

We shall explore this in the

next presentation.

PART TWO
Satanic plots to suppress
and pervert the gospel of
Jesus Christ

Paul warned of attempts by

some to preach another
gospel

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so

soon removed from him that
called you into the grace of
Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7 Which is not another;
but there be some that trouble
you, and would pervert the
gospel of Christ.

Paul puts double curse on those

who tries to subvert the gospel.
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel
from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we
have preached unto you, let him be
accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I
now again, If any man preach any
other gospel unto you than that ye
have received, let him be accursed.

Satans attempts has been to corrupt

the simplicity of the gospel!
2Co 11:3 But I fear lest by any means, as
the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness,
so your thoughts should be corrupted
from the simplicity due to Christ.
2Co 11:4 For if, indeed, the one coming
proclaims another Jesus, whom we have
not proclaimed, or if you receive another
spirit, which you did not receive, or
another gospel, which you never
accepted, you might well endure these .

Take a moment to pause,

reflect and ask:
Where and when was the
attempt to pervert the gospel
begin?

We are now about to meet an

individualReady?

Then Philip went down to the city of

Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
(Act 8:5 KJV)
And the people with one accord gave heed
unto those things which Philip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he
did. (Act 8:6 KJV)

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice,

came out of many that were possessed
with them: and many taken with palsies,
and that were lame, were healed. (Act 8:7
KJV)

And there was great joy in that city. (Act

8:8 KJV)
But there was a certain man, called
Simon, which beforetime in the same city
used sorcery, and bewitched the people
of Samaria, giving out that himself was
some great one: (Act 8:9 KJV)
To whom they all gave heed, from the
least to the greatest, saying, This man is
the great power of God. (Act 8:10 KJV)
.

And to him they had regard, because that

of long time he had bewitched them with
sorceries. (Act 8:11 KJV)
But when they believed Philip preaching
the things concerning the kingdom of
God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they
were baptized, both men and women.
(Act 8:12 KJV)
Then Simon himself believed also: and
when he was baptized, he continued with
Philip, and wondered, beholding the
miracles and signs which were done. (Act
8:13 KJV)

Now when the apostles which were at

Jerusalem heard that Samaria had
received the word of God, they sent unto
them Peter and John: (Act 8:14 KJV)
Who, when they were come down, prayed
for them, that they might receive the Holy
Ghost: (Act 8:15 KJV)
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of
them: only they were baptized in the name
of the Lord Jesus.) (Act 8:16 KJV)

Then laid they their hands on them, and

they received the Holy Ghost. (Act 8:17
KJV)
And when Simon saw that through laying
on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost
was given, he offered them money, (Act
8:18 KJV)
Saying, Give me also this power, that on
whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive
the Holy Ghost. (Act 8:19 KJV)

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish

with thee, because thou hast thought that
the gift of God may be purchased with
money. (Act 8:20 KJV)
Thou hast neither part nor lot in this
matter: for thy heart is not right in the
sight of God. (Act 8:21 KJV)
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness,
and pray God, if perhaps the thought of
thine heart may be forgiven thee. (Act
8:22 KJV)

Act 8:23 For I see that you

are in the gall of bitterness
and in the bond of iniquity.
There is no evidence Simon
ever repented and in fact he
became the agent Satan used
to create a parallel gospel.

Peter declared that Simon was

caught up in the bond of
iniquity.

Apostle Paul seemed to have

picked up on Peters
assessment
For the mystery of iniquity
doth already work (2Th 2:7
KJV)

This Mystery of iniquity was Started by

Simon the Sorcerer
Based on Pauls warning

2Co 11:13 For such men are false

Apostles, workers of deceit, making
themselves seem like Apostles of
Christ.

2Co 11:14 And it is no wonder; for

even Satan himself is able to take the
form of an angel of light.

AGAIN PAUL TELLS US

And that because of false brethren
unawares brought in, who came in
privily to spy out our liberty which we
have in Christ Jesus, that they might
bring us into bondage: (Gal 2:4 KJV)
To whom we gave place by
subjection, no, not for an hour; that
the truth of the gospel might continue
with you. (Gal 2:5 KJV)

WE THANK GOD, THE APOSTLES

AND THE EARLY CHURCH
PRESERVEDTHE TRUTH OF THE
GOSPLE.
This brings us to the next phase of
this studies

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE TRUTH OF

THE GOSPLE ?

Now lets follow the

thread of this gospel
truth which was
started with God
Himself after the fall
of Adam.

And I will put enmity between

thee and the woman, and
between thy seed and her
seed; it shall bruise thy head,
and thou shalt bruise his heel.
(Gen 3:15 KJV)
God promised to crush the
head of Satan

But when the fullness of the time

was come, God sent forth his Son,
made of a woman, made under
the law, (Gal 4:4 KJV)
To redeem them that were under
the law, that we might receive
the adoption of sons.
(Gal 4:5 KJV)

And she shall bring forth a

son, and thou shalt call his
name JESUS: for he shall
save his people from their
sins. (Mat 1:21 KJV)

For this purpose the Son

of God was manifested,
that he might destroy
the works of the devil.
(1Jo 3:8 KJV)

1Jo 2:1 And if any man sin,

we have an advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous:
1Jo 2:2 And he is the
propitiation for our sins: and
not for ours only, but also for
the sins of the whole world.

Rom 5:18 By the offence of one

judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free
gift came upon all men unto
justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's
disobedience many were made
sinners, so by the obedience of
one shall many be made
righteous.

FINALLYWhat believers ought to do

1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our

Savior;
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto
the knowledge of the truth.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God
and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be

testified in due time.
