Computer Game Platforms and Technologies
Scenario: Still working for the computer games magazine your next task is to create an
article that covers the computer hardware technologies using the knowledge you have
gained in lectures and any knowledge from your own research.
Game designers should have a full understanding of the capabilities and benefits of the
different hardware platforms (such as PCs, consoles and mobile devices) as well as
familiarity with software technologies and techniques appropriate to each platform.
This knowledge is highly desirable when seeking a career in this industry.
