Objective
Create an infomercial to describe the niche, habitat, cause of population
decline, and conservation plans of an endangered species
Background Information
Your are a conservationist working for either the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS)or
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The public has been
disturbed with the death of Lonesome George, who was thought to be the last of the
Pinta Island tortoises (Chelonoidis nigra abingdonii). Your task is to inform the
general public about an endangered species using reputable sources (.edu, .gov).
You will research, report, and create your infomercial using either the Explain Everything
or iMovie Apps on your iPad.
Your infomercial must include answers to the following questions, as well as any other
interesting information you find. All references must be cited in APA Format.
