Over 15 years of professional managerial experience as a
result of military service as a noncommissioned officer in the
US Army as well as management positions in the private
sector. Goal oriented, self-motivated, and organized

RADIATION THERAPIST
2014-2015 U.S. ONCOLOGY (TEXAS), CHARLES A. SAMMONS
CANCER CENTER, BAYLOR UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER
Contributed to a high paced treatment facility with occasional patient loads
in excess of 100 patients per day. Operated Varian 2100EX, 2100IX, and
Novalis Trilogy treatment machines to give prescribed dose utilizing OBI,
CBCT, and ExacTrac systems to ensure treatment accuracies. Use of CT
implemented to localize tumor location as well as simulation and planning
of treatment field(s). Participated in Brachytherapy treatment sessions as
well preparatory surgeries. Followed protocol for all patient treatments per
hospital policies. Prepared room and equipment for patient treatment
according to prescription (including special equipment). Utilizing MOSAIQ
software maintained records of daily patient treatments/treatment set-up
documentation. Reported patient concerns and or complications to doctor.
Report abnormal operation of equipment to physicist(s). Extensive training
in several modalities including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, Gated Radiation
Therapy (4D), and 3-D Conformal Radiation Therapy.
