A Different Side to the Pleasure in Video Games
Each day, on average, 30 people are murdered with a gun, 162 people get injured, and 53
use a gun to commit suicide. (According to CDC) In fact, numerous studies have been conducted
and results are mixed that video games increase aggression. Its possible that someone who buys
and play violent video games will later carry on a horrible shooting. Teens playing violent games
can result to bad thoughts, behaviour, and hobbies. It can affect their future, especially if its a
substance of liking. Splish, splash, squirt, shoot, many teens of the water-pistol ambush game
enjoy the dangers and violence of it. As teens, experiencing dangerous and new things is fun
because an all safe game makes them feel small, uncool, and kiddy again. At St. Anns, a private
school in Brooklyn Heights, the game lasts two and a half weeks of intense surviving and
shooting. The two and a half weeks, teaches them more negative lessons than positive.
Pros and Cons of the game, theres many. But the game itself, can be a con. Guns in
pockets can result to a deficient situation, even if its just water or a toy. They learn how to
accurately aim and shoot, trespass, create criminal like ideas, and hacking. Violent juvenile crime
in the United States has been declining as violent video game popularity has increased, but a
2009 study found that it takes up to four minutes for the level of aggressive thoughts and
contentious feelings in children to return to normal after playing violent video games. It takes
five to ten minutes for heart rate and aggressive behavior to return to baseline. Matter of factly,
adding on to that, several studies in both the United States and Japan have shown that,

controlling for prior aggression, children who played more violent video games during the
beginning of the school year showed more aggression than their peers later in the school year.
We need kids who have minds full of happiness, exciting, and memorable memories as they
grow up to be a success at finding who they really are, not some animated character shooting,
killing, plotting death traps against others.
First things first when playing violent games, aiming to shoot at the opponent with a
water filled gun, can be a practice for a real gun. It also teaches them when to shoot a person
which is serious skills for the future. Additionally, carrying guns in hoodies, backpacks, and
pockets can endanger others who see it and think of the wrong thing such as a weapon to kill
innocent lives surrounding them causing a commotion and panic. If this does happen, the police
can stop the game especially after accidents happened with the dangers of children and weapons.
Facing reality, Cleveland boy, 12, shot and killed by police over fake gun is an accurate example
of the dangers of children and teens with weapons, even if its just a toy. Nerf guns and such
shouldnt be allowed in public places anyways, considering that you might hit other people with
styrofoam bullets, or worse, get them wet with water guns. You take full responsibility and the
game is effected with complaints that could really be a hassle to change the ritual.
Furthermore, overpowering kids can really affect the behaviours of teens. Many similar
studies have found that a dose of violent gaming makes people act a little more rudely than they
would otherwise, at least for a few minutes after playing. Teenagers that are delinquents often
find a way to buy real guns and a permit; this concept is most likely a video game lifestyle of
Grand Theft Auto. The judge who puts out the challenges and rules, expectations.. may be a little
bit too ruling of the many things that can happen. Especially arranging a boyfriend- girlfriend kill
that he thinks can be very interesting. However, getting special permission for using squirt fish

is a little much, they shouldnt be carrying around toy like weapons in airports endangering
everyone in the airport. The money prize can go to a good cause instead of just being used on
whatever teens like, although theyve earned it.
Additionally, the message in your brain, and the message in the game says that survival is
the main point to be winner, all conscientiousness teens in the game are going to survive no
matter what, which consists on trespassing like Willis Cohen. Going through other property and
houses can give a bad representation of school when they get caught and in trouble. Its
disrespectful to trespass property because of a game, with the dangers out there with trespassing.
Guard dogs, sky high fences, children playing in the backyard, falling into a backyard pool..
injuries can happen at any time. Its no big deal. or Its just a game. However, theres
consequences for violence and dangers caused by a game. You can easily get in trouble while
playing water-pistol ambush. Make sure your actions dont break the laws. Teens often learn new
things quickly by bad teachings more than professional teachings. Hacking skills can get you in
trouble easily, especially if its unnecessary ambushes, and sleeping in vans borrowed from
parents, can be illegally parked.
In the end, violent games that teenagers play can get their imaginations running wild.
Although, its all fun and games, what you do now, affects you in the future. Its far too
dangerous and turbulence for teens to start doing by trespassing, shooting others whenever they
see the victims. Taking interest in treacherous concept can lead to a risky teen and as years go on
and on, teens have been using alcohol, drugs, and sex. The world may be full of all these things,
but teens with great minds and success with the creativity, theres more to look forward to then
bullets with their names on them. Looking back at teens then and to now, theres a huge
difference. The water-pistol water ambush has shown an over-blown side and wonders to teens

now a days. We all enjoy the life lessons of dangers and wonders, but a boom or crash triggers
the memory of destined violent video games played. Most dont keep their lives in their hands,
the controller is what keeps them alive.
