Human Trafficking
That girl walking next to you was kidnapped from her
driveway five months ago. She stepped outside for the
expanse of five minutes to say something to a friend,
when that friend pushed her into a car with two large
men. Her family not even 500 yards away did not even
know she had gone outside. She now spends her days
shut up in a drawer beneath a bed when she is not being
subject to gang rape. Human trafficking is a plague, one that
is silently sweeping young men and women under its cloak to
never be seen again. These individuals are forced into slavery,
to be silent and submissive. Yet they are not as invisible as we
assume. Theyre hidden in plain sight. In order to eliminate
modern day slavery, its numbers need to be significantly
reduced. This can be accomplished by having Stricter
laws/rules/regulations within the pornography industry, public
awareness, and consequences for the predators not the victims.
